Joyful Chaos

Last week in review

Last week just flew by with us, between the holiday, the new baby and co-op starting.  Let's see if I can even remember everything at this point!  lol

Monday-We went to our friends home for a bbq and then to Jaysons baseball game.  It was great fun as usual, we can't wait to go again.

Tuesday-School in the morning, the nature center class in the afternoon, then baby day!!

Wednesday-School in the morning, park in the afternoon, then Brad took the kids to church for scouts and youth group and I went to the hospital to visit with the new family.

Thursday-The large co-op we are involved in began (WAVEDE.com)  Brad had to go to the hospital to help reinstall Phoenix's carseat that had to be removed for the breathing test.  Patrick and Jeanette stopped by on their way home to visit for  a few minutes, then I went over later to take them some baby bedding that I had bought and washed up for them.

Friday-I had a chiropractor appointment in the morning and took the 3 boys with me.  We then met my mom at Cracker Barrel for lunch and shopping.  Then in the evening we had the cub scout raingutter regatta.  Dalton took first place!!  The boys chose a different boat design this year, they both sailed catamarans, and they seemed to be a success.

Saturday-Our church hosted the boys scouts as the put on a big emergency preparedness fair.  Allyson volunteered there, helping with a water purification demonstration.  Brad went and helped direct traffic and do crowd control.  The boys and I skipped it and went to chess club instead    Saturday evening we all pitched in to get some overdo housecleaning done.

Sunday-Church, I taught in relief society, topic-Reverence.  In the afternoon we had a quick baseball awards ceremony that was much overdo (since spring season), and then we had dinner here for the family.  My parents and brother came, as well as Jeanette, Phoenix, and Jeanettes mom.  Brad bbq'd which is typical here for family dinners!

Now on to this week

About Me

Welcome, glad you stopped by! Here you will get a glimpse into the day to day life of our family, as we happily homeschool in Delaware. We currently have 2 children grown and gone, one married and one in college, 4 more at home, and 1 on the way. Things are often hectic and a little bit crazy, but usually fun and maybe a bit interesting.
