July 22, 2006 - My first entry!
It's taken me a while to catch on to this blog business :) I used to have a webpage up and running, but having kids and moving countries got in the way, so I haven't done much on the net lately. Time to change that now! I'm going to set up my website again with lots of homemaking and homeschooling stuff!
Just to introduce myself, I am a stay at home, homeschooling mum to 3 children. Dan is 12, Beth 10 and Matt 8. My DH is in the computer business, so we have lots of computers hanging around the house and they are an integral part of our homeschooling and daily life! I have lived all over the world and am currently in country number 7, somewhere in the Middle East. We come from Australia and miss it a lot. But we also love to travel and are so blessed to be able to have the opportunity to do so.
I love to quilt, read, write and keep house :) Well, not the actual cleaning, but the making of a home! I fell very blessed to be able to be a homemaker. It is what I always wanted to be when I grew up :)
This is our 6th year of homeschooling. We do our school year the Aussie way - January to December. We combine a lot of methods - workbooks, Charlotte Mason, Notebooking, Unit Studies... whatever works at the time.

I hope you will enjoy blogging here @ HSB! It must be pretty neat to live in so many different countrys. :)
My dad is a computer guy too, so there is a lot of computer parts, pieces, old s, ect. around the house. ;)
It is so neat to meet so many people from around the world here at HSB! I look forward to hearing more about your travels and get to know you better!
