May. 21, 2007 - Goals for this Week
Good afternoon!
It is a pregnant day! You know one of those days you want to blame everything on the pregnancy
. School is struggling. Our plans for the week were scratched. I was/am so very tired I can hardly keep my eyes open. I attempted to lay down. Baby who normally sleeps at this time would not sleep. I had locked all the doors and sent the other children to watch their science dvd. I worry about napping when the children are awake, but today I simply could stop falling asleep even if I was standing. I sent baby to watch the dvd and set my alarm for 30 minutes. Guess what! Baby thought it was funny to bring Mama lots of stuff. Lay on my head. Kiss me. Lots of cute stuff. I did not need to worry about her hurting herself! After giving up on the nap, we did math and I dozed between problems! How sad is that?
I need to regroupl So, I thought I would post my list of goals for the week. Maybe knowing others are looking will spur me on.
1. Clean off my desk.
2. Clean entire house: Living room--dust, floors, clean furniture, add non-slip to bottom of furniture, clean fan, wash windows . Kitchen--clean out frig, meds shelf, wipe down outside of cabinets, wash windows, clean oven, top of frig. Laundry room and half bath--clean windows, door and top of upright, declutter under bathroom sink, replace door handle (taken off to open locked door--parts were missing
), normal bathroom cleaning. Other baths --normal cleaning. Master bedroom--dust, clean fan, assemble new-to-us bedframe (really dh will do that), clean floors, straighten closet that also acts as extra food/small appliance storage. Children room--pick up, vaccum, wash all bedding, remove game table, organize new bookshelves, box up more clothing, clean window, dust. Office--declutter, lable shelves and arrange books, clean window, dust and vaccum.
3. Post schedule around the house (I am going to give my dh a copy and have him call me throughout the day to see if I am on track.)
4. I hope to rise at 6 (I would like 5, but do not think it is possible right now) and wake the children by 7.
5. Enforce 9 p.m. bedtime (I can not send them to bed before dark--that is just to sad)
6. Make a list of items that need to be purchased for house and hs.
7. Begin using and modifying my household binder.
8. Type out menus, shopping list, to go list ect...
9. Start knitted blanket for baby on the way.
10. Plant cucmbers, stack tomatoes, weed, plant sunflower seeds, teach children how to water plants.
11. Refocus our learning enviroment--I know that is vague, but I will post updates.
12. Kitchen day--I will see what needs to be done and post later.
Have a blessed day!
