Jul. 19, 2007 - The Trash Bandit Has Been Caught!
Yesterday a friend who lives within a few miles of our home stopped by to drop off an invitation to his son's birthday party. While chatting with him I noticed his TRUCK! I had decided I would ask everyone we knew who had a truck if they were the ones who took our overflowing trash. Not knowing was really starting to bother me! This dear friend passes our house every day and is very kind and knows how much dh works so he was a likely suspect.
When I ask him he looked really puzzled and said, "No, was I supposed to take your trash? Did someone take all of you trash?" So I explained. Well, he thought it was weird, then he remembered!!!!!!
For the past two weeks the trash trucks have not made their rounds! (So it would not have mattered if I had remembered to take the trash to the road.) Because of all the complaints the trash truck made a round Friday before noon! I assume, since they could see the trash cans and we had no notice of them coming on Friday, they were kind enough to walk down the driveway and pick up the trash!
Mystery solved!
