Today I needed this verse. Several things I was hoping would happen didn't happen. I was waiting for 2 calls from different people. Neither of them called. I really dislike waiting for the phone to ring and for people to call back! I needed to consciously move myself from the point of disappointment to trusting and having peace in God. God was good and restored joy to him. Anyways, I pray we can find God's peace in rejoicing in him, not being anxious, and praying to him at all times. |
