I just found out about a great website for quizzing geography! It has many levels of quizzing for continents of the world (South America, Europe...), the U.S. (states, geographical features, capitals) and more! I just got done playing on it for a while! Each area has up to 8 different levels of quizzes. The easies ones hae you clicking on the country (or state..) that it says with the borders drawn in and within just region of the country or continent. For example, you would click on California but only the Western states are lit up to click on. The hardest level has you dragging a state or country onto it's map with no borders put in, rotating it to the proper direction and resizing it to fit! I did ok with rotating countries in South America, but with resizing them too it would be pretty hard!
Anyways, if you have a student needing to learn geography of any type, this is an excellent free site! |
