Today I started giving horse-back rides for my kids by crawling around the floor and letting them ride on me. As I was doing it and they were wanting rides, I told them they need to pay for their rides by picking up five things. They were so excited for their rides that they kept picking up five things over and over to buy more rides! In no time at all the room was picked up!
I think I'll try that one a few more times! It was fun - they loved the rides, and they didn't complain at all about the picking up! It was a good bonding time and I got exercise besides! I've definitely found, the more I can bring joy into my day and do things in a fun way, the better things go! |
