Today I have a guest blogger to type my blog for me! My 6yo dd is going to tell a story and I'll type it down. I don't know what this will be like but here goes!

Once upon a time, there was a family. They went to a parade and when they got there they found a spot. Then they unfolded their chairs and sat down. There were fire trucks with people in them and they were throwing candy. The boy caught some candy and the girls caught some too. They were going to eat one piece but the mom didn't let them eat one piece. The dog was catching candy too and bringing it to them.Then they were putting their candy in their bag.

There was a band. The dog went out in the street. Then he got stepped on by one of the band players who was playing the cymbals. He stopped playing the cymbals because he felt something under his shoe and it was the dog! The dog had to go to the hospital because he got stepped on by the band player. Then a police car came to pick him up and drive him to the hospital. He got to come back home the next day.

Hope you liked her story! We have our town celebration here this week-end and there will be fireworks tomorrow night and a parade the next day so our kids are all thinking about fireworks and parades. Our town only has 100 people in it though it used to be a  much larger town so people see the celebration kind of like a homecoming of sorts or so they say... We've only lived here for a couple of months so it will be interesting to see what happens! No, we dont' have a dog, so this story couldn't happen to us! Anyways, hope you all have a great week-end!
