prayer for healing!

Posted in His voice

It has been a little while. We have been enjoying our summer and doing camp. I have been trying to rest my voice, with not much success. I would really appreciate prayer for this. I am a singer and of course a teacher and have been dealing with hoarseness (chronic) for the past year and a half. I was without insurance for a while so couldn't get any medical help. We now have insurance and I'm seeing a doctor, who has put me a good bit of meds. He says I have nodules on my vocal cords. It is very hard, because I just LOVE to sing to the Lord. It is my passion! I am standing on the word for my complete healing, especially before August 7th when we start back to doing school, because I also love to read aloud to my boys. I do know that I will sing and read aloud again. God is FAITHFUL and is true to His promises and I know , beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it IS His will that I sing praises to HIs name. I also know that in the silence He is speaking! Thank you for your agreement with me that healing will manifest very soon.

If anyone else has dealt with this I would love to hear your story!

In Christ,

Julie

I don't have a story to share but I will pray that you heal quickly! I do know you have to be careful about that. Better to rest now than damage your vocal cords any more. I love to sing, too, as well as read to my kids so I can imagine how frustrating that must be! Hope you're feeling better soon.

I have been a bit in the same place, but mine turned out to be reflux. I thought for sure it was nodules and I had two weeks before a solo in our Christmas cantata. I have taken meds since then and they have helped some, but I still have some trouble. I will be praying for you. I have a friend who dealt with nodules and she had to rest her voice completely. That is hard to do when you have kids, especially when you are homeschooling.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have been on a missions' trip and just got back last night so I am just now getting back to you. Have a blessed day in the Lord!

Blessings,
Becky

Hello, I am homeschooling my 3 precious sons, who are growing up right before my very eyes! I praise the Lord for the opportunity to have my boys at home with me. What an awesome blessing!!!
