Just Gotta Laugh

Technical help, please!

OK, I'll be the first to admit that I'm no compluter whiz.  In fact, for the first couple of weeks after purchasing a laptop, I kept thinking that someone was going to come confiscate it because I didn't meet the basic requirements for owning a laptop.  For example, I had to call my sister-in-law to find out how to turn it on.  Well, time passed, no one came to take it away, and I was able to finally come out of hiding.  So, now here I am blogging and there are just some things that I can't seem to figure out.  Can anyone help??  Here are my questions right now (there'll be more I'm sure):

How do you speel chek on here?

How can I put a priceless picture of my precious children on my page to replace the empty rocking chair shot?  It looks serene and all, but it just doesn't fit us.  See, with seven in the household (soon to be eight) and only 1,000 square feet of living space, there's never an empty chair in our house.  Besides, if that rocking chair were ours, my son would be balanced on the top of it with a cape tied around his neck.

How can I edit my page?  My Just Gotta Laugh title doesn't have the "Just" capitalized.  I'm trying to teach my 4th grader how to capitalize and I've got to get this fixed before she sees it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Okay here goes - in order to put a picture on for your "avatar" you just go to your main control panel, then click "profile" you'll see the current picture on there. Now, you have to upload a picture to replace that one. The tricky part is making it a size to fit. You have to open your "paint" program on your computer. Once open, you need to open whatever picture you choose. Then, under view, click sketch/skew and reduce it by 50% a few times. It should be about 2x2 when done. Now save it (with a different name!!!) Now, leave that open and go back to your blog pages. Click "browse" and find the edited picture, then "upload". If it was small enough it should show it, if not, then go back to paint, make it smaller, re-save, and try again. Did you get it?

Are you ready for the really hard part now? On your control panel go to settings, then you will see your blog title. Just change it to correct captialization and you are good. Always click save when you are done!

I have no idea if I answered all your questions, or if you even understand my directions, maybe I should just call you... Just ask me again, I love to help!
