My Bedtime Nursery Rhymes. This is a sweet book. The pictures are stitched felt. I loved reading it to the children. They loved it and have been reading this particular book over and over again.
Uncle Arthur's Bedtime Stories. I had this and four other volumes (1-5) growing up. And I think I've convinced my parents to sell them to me. (Right, Mom?) I've read two stories out of this book to the kids and they are really enjoying them. The stories we read were Just A Minute Kaya (I thought it was Janet, but this book has Kaya) and After Dark. Just A Minute Kaya is about a little girl who doesn't obey and come when she's called. A story about obedience. After Dark teaches about sharing and how much fun sharing can be.
My Truck Book (Smithsonian) W has loved this book! It is borrowed from the library and was brand brand new. Was being the word! He has ripped the front cover (a board book, no less) and the back and at least one page! But he loves loves loves it and reads it over and over and over. The first page - a fire truck! I think I'll just offer to buy it and keep it for him!
Snack Attack Kristyn could read this book if she really tried. It is a Ready-To-Read book, Level 1. I thought it was a silly book, but they thought it was hilarious. Have a read. It's a surprise ending.
