The love of learning. I love how learning just happens. I'm sitting here listening to my children play together. They are working together on making a paper chain snake. The preschool theme in our home this week is jungle - and in that we are learning about green. So we made a snake. They are loving it. They are excited about it.
We are learning about working together to get the house chores done. We are working on a new system (see here and here) and it is working well so far. Well, it's not totally new, just revamped and adding another routine. We are a team, a family and we all have our part to do. (and as a side, having set chores for each child helps with behavior - you behave or you'll do so and so's chores today!)
We love learning and are thankful that we have the love of learning!
Has another week flown by already??? That means I'm 33 weeks! I am so thankful for such a healthy pregnancy. I really have had no complaints other than a little sickness at the beginning and some tiredness. Well, at 33 weeks, I'm starting to get tired again. And fall hit! So that means busy-ness - homeschooling, harvesting the garden, canning etc.
I am so thankful for all the food we are putting away.
I am thankful for the learning I see my children doing.
I am thankful for the ability to teach them and learn from them too.
I am thankful for a healthy pregnancy, with a baby that is still so active even though it's getting tight in there!
I am thankful that the fear I experienced at the beginning of this has dissipated somewhat; I have more peace.

Today I'm just thankful for a wonderful midwife who is so willing to work with us to give us the best birth we think is possible. She is an incredible woman. She is a mentor and a woman of God. I have been blessed to have her care through 5 of my 6 pregnancies! And I'm blessed to get to see her tomorrow with my husband and other children! WOO HOO!! (I'm just a little excited! hee hee)
I am thankful for the wisdom and knowledge and leading that God gives to my DH and I. We have what we need at the time to parent our children, make money and time decisions and to make our marriage stronger. Oh, I know that there is so much more for us to learn and know and really follow, but we are doing good with what we've got right now.
I'm thankful for my life and my little family. We are growing in so many ways. Education. Spiritually. Mentally. In size! We are becoming the people that God wants us to be.
I am thankful for the hard work that we put into parenting early on. I get compliments when I go out on how well behaved my children are. I love that.

I'm thankful for health to help the local church ministry - our local children's camp. We are going there this week to help build a house and get ready for the camping season!
