Donna C had this on her blog which came from Under-the-Pines Heidi's blog, which came from "Mrs. Nicklebee's" blog, which came from Karen Joy which I only 'know' Donna, but it was fun AND I thought I'd do it too... if anyone wants to play, leave a comment so I can check out your responses.  My experiences are bolded:

7. Been to Disneyland (WELL~Slept across the street but didn’t get in because my cousin was sick when we were there….. )

12. Visited Paris

13. Watched a lightning storm at sea

14. Taught yourself an art from scratch

15. Adopted a child

16. Had food poisoning

17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty

18. Grown your own vegetables (Only got to eat one carrot from my garden….we went away on vacation that year and my pet sitter forgot to weed…. I also have raspberry bush too!!)

19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France

20. Slept on an overnight train (Don’t remember it much…I was little and my mom & I went to my aunt’s graduation)

21. Had a pillow fight

22. Hitch hiked

23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill

24. Built a snow fort

25. Held a lamb

26. Gone skinny dipping

27. Run a Marathon

28. Ridden in a gondola in

29. Seen a total eclipse

30. Watched a sunrise or sunset

31. Hit a home run

32. Been on a cruise

33. Seen Niagara Falls in person

34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors

35. Seen an Amish community (Actually been to Lancaster, PA many many times…and there is an Amish community here in Delaware too!)

36. Taught yourself a new language

37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied (Although this is not this season in life….I would be satisfied with enough to pay my bills right now.)

38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person

39. Gone rock climbing (Only if a fake wall counts!)

40. Seen Michelangelo’s David

41. Sung karaoke

42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt

43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant

44. Visited Africa

45. Walked on a beach by moonlight

46. Been transported in an ambulance (Just this past fall…got hit in the face with a baseball at a minor league game…not fun.…at least I had just switched seats w/ my 6yo son../who by the way had me looking at the mascot 6 rows in front of us squirting a water gun....OH BY THE WAY…did you know on the back of your ticket it states they are not responsible for any injury!!!)

47. Had your portrait painted

48. Gone deep sea fishing (Well it was off-shore…but I want to go WAY OFF-SHORE in deeper water)

49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person

50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris

51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling

52. Kissed in the rain

53. Played in the mud

54. Gone to a drive-in theater

55. Been in a movie (Just home movies…although my frat brother, who has worked with Tim Burton,  has made several movies with frat bros in them…I wasn’t in them)

56. Visited the Great Wall of China

57. Started a business

58. Taken a martial arts class

59. Visited Russia

60. Served at a soup kitchen

61. Sold Girl Scout Cookies (But not as a girl scout…I am the word-of-mouth advertising and sell them for friends’ kids)

62. Gone whale watching (Oh yes…and my son will quickly tell you Grandpa got sea sick!!!)

63. Got flowers for no reason

64. Donated blood, platelets or plasma (Got this from my dad….tey love me too because I bleed good!!)

65. Gone sky diving

66. Visited a Nazi Concentration Camp (Not yet in person…but went to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC…you are given an identity as you go thru ‘life’ and most of don’t/didn’t survive.)

67. Bounced a check (not on purpose, of course)

68. Flown in a helicopter

69. Saved a favorite childhood toy

70. Visited the Lincoln Memorial

71. Eaten Caviar

72. Pieced a quilt (Only a doll sized one….my mom has done more and I want to do more!)

73. Stood in Times Square

74. Toured the Everglades

75. Been fired from a job (Yes, but disputed this and won with unemployment….but be it as it is, I live in an “at-will” state…they can fire you for any/no reason here!)

76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London

77. Broken a bone (Refer back to #46….fractured my maxillary sinus)

78. Been on a speeding motorcycle

79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person

80. Published a book (I call it a book…my requirement for graduation was a thick spiral bound book….about 100 pages)

81. Visited the Vatican

82. Bought a brand new car (A Big Big BIG mistake…since it was to replace my now ex’s vehicle….and I have a car payment….didn’t need that…..)

83. Walked in Jerusalem

84. Had your picture in the newspaper (Several times…for field hockey and riding antique bikes)

85. Read the entire Bible (Not specifically front to back…)

86. Visited the White House

87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating (does slaughtering chickens count?  I didn’t chop off their heads, but I did about everything else.  Or fishing, then gutting the fish?  Does that count?  I’ve done that a billion times.)

88. Had chickenpox

89. Saved someone’s life

90. Sat on a jury

91. Met someone famous (While working at QVC I met Marie Osmond, Richard Simmons, Joan Rivers...and of course all the hosts/hostesses....actually went to church with Mary Beth Roe.  And Curt Shilling was a customer when I was a manager at Office Max)

92. Joined a book club

93. Lost a loved one

94. Had a baby

95. Seen the Alamo in person

96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake (no, but I flew over it while flying in to Salt Lake City!)

97. Been involved in a law suit

98. Owned a cell phone

99. Been stung by a bee

 

Wow...65 things...I didn't think I would have that many of the 99...and I am only 36!!! Feel free to play along too!
