In an effort to make understanding color theory easier, I have created a color theory reference poster for sale at my site, www.teachartathome.com. You can also get a sketch journal with the poster on the cover to take on sketching outings!

I just came across your website and then your blog and am excited to try some of the projects you have listed. I am homeschooling 4 children from ages 2 yrs to 14 yrs and I can see us doing many of the ones I've looked at. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and ideas!

Hello! First let me say that your site looks wonderful and even though I haven't tried any of the projects yet I am excited about getting started. In the one where you create an interesting background with gesso and watercolor paint a texture is created. Is this surface bumpy and would it be difficult to draw on? I've never used gesso before and only know that it's used to prepare canvas for paint. Thank you for your wonderful ideas and for sharing them!
