I have been busy blogging at another site, and so am sorry I have been gone so long. Here we are at the end of October and I am feeling so disorganized still. This year I am home educating all three of our girls, grades 1st, 3rd, and 7th. It feels so chaotic! Maybe we need a stricter schedule. Last year with the kindergartener and 6th grader, it went so smoothly. Now I feel torn. I run from child to child trying to answer their cries of “Mommy, I need help!” I am tying to keep it simple, however there is so much more I want to incorporate. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE homeschooling. It is a huge blessing and know this is right where we are to be. I guess I just want so much for each of them. I want to teach them and share so much with them. I feel like I can’t fit it all in, but I know we aren’t doing too much. My goal for this week is to develop a new schedule and incorporate some of the other activities we want to do: Reading some classics aloud, swimming, and going to the children’s museum.
