Thanks for your encouragement! We have started reading a classic, Little Women. The girls and I are really enjoying this time together. I am delightfully surprised that even our little 6 year old is listening and enjoying. I don’t have any grand expectations about her sitting still, so that helps. The girls talk about their own personalities compared to those of the characters in Little Women. They are so darling! Another thing we have accomplished is that my oldest daughter and I went to the gym to work out together, weight machines and swimming. It was fun. My mom will be watching the 2 little ones twice a week so we can go swim, or whatever, together. OH, one more thing, we joined the Children’s Museum again. The girls did some fantastic art work there the other day. The little girls created scarecrows on construction paper with material, while the oldest wrote her name really big and covered it with odds and ends. They enjoyed the time with the glue. :)
