I'm reading a series of books called Freddy the Golden Hamster. It is about a hamster that can read and write. He has three friends, two annoying guinea pigs (Enrico and Caruso) and a civilized tomcat (Sir William).

At first you`d think that Sir William would eat Freddy, but he doesn`t. Weird huh? Sir Willim tries to keep everything fair, but the two practical jokers, Enrico and Caruso, make Freddy want to blow out his cheek pouches which make Sir William very mad.

In book two Sir William falls in love with a beautiful white outdoor housecat who almost eats Freddy. Enrico and Caruso are poem writers and are good actors. Freddy on the other hand just thinks they are very annoying guinea pigs that know basically nothing.

I'm reading book three now. It is about Freddy hearing field hamsters being attacked by the hamster killers (bulldozers!) I'm halfway through this one.

Have any of you ever read the Freddy books? I like them. The author is Dietlof Reiche. What a weird name!

Hi! My name is Katherine. I am a new blogger. I live in Tennessee and I am 10 years old. My cousins are homeschooled and I used to be, but not now. I am in public school. My cousin Bobbi invited me to this blog. I hope you will be my friend and write to me.
