Plucking Early

I would like to say I feel badly for plucking that beautiful red radish I posted a picture of yesterday, but like a child in a candy shop, I could not keep my fingers away. By the end of yesterday, the rain clouds had moved on and I found myself weeding my garden beds. Then, I came to the the blushing beauty, plucked it from its earth bed, washed off the dirt, and ate it. It was only the size of a small marble but full of robust radishness (I know, not technically a word, but it's my word). That little bugger was hot! With the heat these Frenchies are packing, I know my darling hubby will enjoy them in salads or as a side to any meal.

Thanks for the comment on my blog!
that is wonderful that you are using "The 5000 Year Leap" for teaching and educating yourself! Wonderful!
I thought you might like to join a site for conservative homeschoolers, that a friend started recently and is letting me help with. Here is the link: http://conservativehomeschooler.ning.com/
Again, Thanks! And God bless!

P.S. Love your blog and pictures of garden! Wow!
