I'm so bad at this.
Well okay I'm not very good at this blog thing. Maybe this year I will get better... hmmm ??? I guess we will have to wait and see. Well it has been 10 months since I posted anything. Needless to say a lot has happened during that time.
My hubby was able to return to work 9 months after his accident. He still has trouble and more than likely always will. But we are thankful he is better.
My precious dd is now in the 3rd grade. She will be 9 in March. She currently is getting ready for her next big role LOL... The local high school is performing "High School Musical" this year. She is a little cheerleader. Which she is loving every minute.
Today she had her first meeting with a new club she is in "The Life of Faith Club" she had a great time. It is a club based on the Elsie Dinsmore and other books in that collection. They did a little skit and made a cute journal today. She really enjoyed herself and meeting some new girls. She is looking forward to the next meeting.
For Christmas she got Samantha- An American Girl, she has had so much fun playing with her and we read the "Meet Samantha" book. We really enjoyed it and looking forward to reading the other. First we are going to take out and read the "Milley" books in the Life of Faith series. We borrowed the 1st one today.
I'm so happy that my dd loves to read. She got it honest I love to read. She used some of her Christmas money to buy the 1st 4 Hannah Montana books and has been zooming thru them.
Over the weekend I started teaching her how to crochet. I will try to blog about how that comes along. She started working on her base chain and now thinks she is ready to crochet a blanket for me. :)
I hope I remember to come by and update this more often. Things were just so crazy for a while.
After my husband's accident at work so many things happened. My dad had a stroke then he had to have hip replacement surgery. During which time my grandmother had a stroke in April of 2007. She was paralyzed on her right side and couldn't talk. Praise the Lord she can now walk with a cane. And she can talk (her speech isn't always clear and it isn't like before, but most of the time we can understand whatever she says) My dad's stroke was completely different it didn't affect him physically it was more mentally and not with everything. Just somethings he can't remember and has difficulty comprehending things. A couple of months ago he had to undergo surgery to open up the blocked artery in his neck ( he kept experiencing mini strokes) Thank the Lord all went well with the surgery. And he hasn't had any more mini strokes since. He still has some problems but is a lot better than he was. So as you can see things just have been very hectic. And honestly blogging wasn't on my mind. But things are now going better. Praise God!
Time for me to get to bed..
