A lot can happen in a week...
We refinanced our home last week to take advantage of the fantastically low interest rates. While there I ran into my old boss when I was in the title business. Turns out she could use some part time help, so I start on Monday. Primarily it will be for approx 3 days at month end, the busy time for closings. I'll proably also work 10 hours or so the other weeks of the month. Hubby's business has slowed a bit, so it's a way to help make progress on some outstanding bills. I've also picked up some more writing assignments and may start to keep another little girl a couple of days a week.
The bottom line: it is doable, but I need to get more organized around here. When hubby travels I most likely will not work at the office, but when he's home and I need to go in, I need to have it so he can do school time with the kids.
Also, I've cancelled the surgery. Our share of the cost was going to be too much for what I felt the benefit would be. As self-employed, our insurance isn't as good as when we had employers, so we are much more careful about how we use it!
Hopefully I'll update with a schoolish post later this week. Praying your Sunday is filled with God's glory and goodness.

Hi Robin, we too refinanced our home loan this past winter and took on a ten year note so we could get the house paid off faster. Times are feeling kinda iffy and it would be great to be totally out of debt.
I understand trying to get everything better organized, I am too. I know I would be a better teacher if I could get a more prepared routine going. I'm also a nicer person when everything is all neat and tidy, maybe that's the reason I've been such a grump here lately, I'm livin in a pit :-).
Hope your day is restful, Julie

Thanks for your word of ecouragement. Five I don't know. We are letting God control the size of our family and though I want to get pregnant again, my fear is what if I misscarry again. I understand that not everyone winds up losing the blood the I do and have to go into the hospital, I am two for two now. My other kids have helped me focus on other things rather than my lose, I was blessed to have 5 children before my first misscarrage and needing to get back into their school work, help them deal with the lose and just enjoy them knowing that my other two are in God's hands and I will be with them when God calls me home has been a great healing. Now the fear is not as great and I am excited as to what the Lord has for us.
I pray your strenght is coming back as well, glad to hear you were able to refinance to a lower rate. Awesome. Great that God is providing more work to help with the income. I love watching how He does that. I will continue to pray for you all, changing over to self employement is quite an adventure.
Oh I forgot about Photobucket, I think I may have a account with them, I will have to go see.

That is great that you found some work that you are interested in and that will fit into your schedule.
Insurance issues are so frustrating, aren't they? B. was supposed to see a cardiologist, but couldn't because of the insurance.
Hope you have a wonderful evening!
