May. 18, 2008 - where we are, why we went that way and where we ended up.
For anyone still interested......here's the rest of our cross country trip and where we ended up. (Your guesses were a bit off but I understand why you guessed what you did)

Welcome to California!!!
And our final destination......San Diego!!!!
Now if you're wondering if we took a wrong turn somewhere in Iowa, the
reason we went the northern route was this.

And once I quite living out of suitcases, do tons of laundry and my head
stops spinning, I'll post some neat stuff we saw at our stops along the way.
For now, I'll leave you with this question.
How DO you pronounce this road???

| We took a very similar road trip a few years ago and it was truly spectacular. I am sooo jealous. We went to a great spot in San Diego, I'm sure you know about, Point Loma. It was beautiful. |

| Love how your blog looks! Also, hope you all are recovering from your move. :) We took nearly that same route (well, the western part) when we moved from ND to CA a couple of yrs ago. And for the same reasons--gorgeous countryside! |
