All of the items (Minus the Candy) where free after Register Rewards.
In other words I bought the Vaseline Renewal Lotion at $6.99 and got a Register Reward for $7.00 good on my next purchase!
We then took that $7 RR (Register Reward) and bought a Herbal Essence Shampoo at $2.99 a Chapstick at $2.99 and an Emergen-C Energy Booster at $3.49 for a Total of $10.30 paid with the $7 RR and a $1 RR from preveious purchase and paid only $2.30 OOP (Out of pocket) and recieved a $3.50 a $2.00 and a $3.00 RR for my next purchase!
You can roll these over and over as many times as you want. Just remember not to use the RR on the same product in the future cause you will not get another RR if you do! Swap them back and forth!
I sit hear going through photos of the last couple years. I can hardly begin to believe how much my children have changed right before my very eyes! Now I knew they changed a lot but to look and see how much...WOW! Where does time go? It really makes you think and see how valuable our time is with our kids. Our time with them is so short. Before we know it they will be getting married and starting families of their own! When that time comes I want them to be prepared and ready! My job is to train them up in the ways of the Lord! It is my prayer that I take these years seriously and give my children the time they need and deserve. I do not just want to go through each day, just getting through. I want to live a life of no regrets! I want to live to glorify my Lord and Savior in all that I do!
I can hardly believe that summer is over! Another school year about to begin. How does time fly by us so quickly. So much to do in so little time. We have a very interesting year ahead and I am so excited. Our whole lives are about to change. God is moving us into something new!!! We are still waiting to see His exact plan, but we know that He has called us to a live a more simple life. We are planning a much more relaxed and slow paced school, with our focus being on God and His Word and Our Family! We are very excited.
Our Curriculum this year will consist of the following:
Older 3 Students, Grades 6th, 8th and 10th
Lifepac - Bible
Writing Your Roots - English
Mystery of History - History

I have been asked a lot lately about what I do when it comes to coupons and getting the best deals. I decided to post it all here for an easy link reference for anyone interested:
OK Are you ready? There is a lot to take in, and I already know you will have lots of questions, No problem...email me, Twitter me, whatever you need! I takes a while to get a feel for it and about 3 months to see the true results.
Ok
Myth #1 Just because you have a coupon does not mean you will get a deal. We so often clip the coupons we will use and go buy them no matter what they cost because we have a coupon. That is exactly what the stores and manufactures are hoping for. BIG No No!!!
We have to learn to be patient...Clip and save all the coupons...and wait for a really good sale!
When that sale comes it is time to stock pile!
(Stock Piling is Stocking up on that item whose price is so low so that you never have to buy it again at full price, you want enough to hold you over until it goes on that REALLY GOOD sale again usually around 6 months!)
We also get so use to going grocery shopping each week and only buying what we need for that week. We will never save the most that we can that way.
The goal and trick is this:
Store Deal combined with coupons = Super Savings
For Example: Last week Albertsons ran a deal...spend $30 on select products get $15 back on your next order... Stacked with coupons we walked out only paying between $5 to $10 for bags of groceries... and we did it multiple times throughout the week to add to our stock pile.... You see if you stock up while it is at a all time low you will never have to pay full price for the item again....when you need it you don't run to the store you go to your stock pile. For example, my kids love GoGurt...2 For $4 would be a pretty good deal right? Well I bought them at Albertsons on their deal 4 For $10 (Which by itself is no good, but watch) Because I am doing the $30 deal over and over I get to use the $15 off coupon I got previously... So I buy 12 GoGurts = $30 use $15 off coupon = $15 plus 6 $1 off 2 coupons = $9 for 12 boxes of GoGurts that I will freeze to be stocked on them.
After a while you get to know what is a good deal and not a good deal...Believe me I was just like you..A sale is a sale right?
Now you can not be store loyal or brand loyal to save. Every Week will be different. Grocery store sales run Wednesday thru Tuesday. Each Tuesday you should get the new Flyer in the mail. Look it over and decide where all the best deals are at. You may have to hit more than one store that week...I hated this at first...but again it pays off and I know now it is SO worth it.
Ralphs and Vons will double coupons up to .50
This means that a coupon that is .40 will be redeemed at .80 but a coupon that is $1 will be $1
I also love Fresh and Easy For Produce...They use to have coupons which I never see anymore, but I still like their quality and prices better than supermarkets especially the mark down section.
Myth #2 It is best to get all your personal items from Target and WalMart....
Now we come to the Drug Store part of my presentation.... You can actually get all this stuff FREE...yes I said FREE!!! We love the Drug Store Game...
Rite-Aide has a Rebate Program- Each Month there are products that you buy and then submit your rebate at the end of the month and get a check back for the things you bought.
Walgreens has Register Rewards..
The Register Rewards are coupons that print out with your receipts that are good towards your next purchase.
You do what is called rolling..you earn some RR's (Register Rewards) use them on another purchase to pay as little out of pocket and get new RR's each time...
Example... TheraFlu Warming Liquid was 2 for $10 get $5 in RR's I bought 2 used a $1.50 off coupon for each = $7 used a $5 RR from a previous purchase = $2 OOP (Out of Pocket) got back another $5 RR.
This week I am going to get 3 Dimetapp's at $3.99 each = 12.00 use 3 $2 off coupons = $6 use my $5 RR pay only $1 OOP and get another $5 RR for next week.
Now our Favorite
CVS
They have what is called Extra Care Program
They pay you to buy their stuff....In Extra Care Bucks...which works like cash or gift certificates.
When you buy certain products they earn you ECB's (Extra care Bucks) that you use on your next purchase..these can be used on any purchase and combined with as many as you want.... So that is why we love CVS.
It will only cost you to start it up but after you never pay for anything there. We get Toothpaste, shampoo, lotion, medicines, make-up, laundry detergent, toilet paper, milk....etc.... all for FREE
The best part is Stacking here....
What in the world is stacking? Stacking is taking a store coupon and using a Manufactures coupon to double your savings. When we shop CVS we spend around $15 use a $3 off $15 purchase coupon use any other CVS coupon like lets say I bought $20 worth of Medicines that earns me $10 in ECB's I have a CVS coupon for $2 off any Pain Reliever and $2 off Tylenol plus manufactures coupons...Total $20- $3-$2-$2-$1-$1= $11 pay with my ECB's and get back $10 more in ECB's..
You can stack coupons at any store if you have a store coupon (Which the coupon will state on top Good at _____) you can also use a Manufactures coupon too.
Now that I have completely overwhelmed you and probably confussed you, What do you think?
Email me back with questions please.

Albertsons is having a great deal going on right now for those of you interested!
The deal is buy $30 in select products get $15 back to use towards your next purchase. There are a lot of printable coupons available to go along with this deal as well, making it even sweeter. The best part is you can do this multiple times and roll the $15 back in and still get another $15.
For example... Yesterday I went and bought $30 worth, used $10 in coupons, paid $20 and got back $15 towards my next purchase. (They will print out of the machine after your receipt in 3 $5 coupons that can be combined)
Today I am going back, going to get $30 worth again, use $10 in coupons (Or whatever amount you can find) bring my total down to $20 (Or less) use my $15 from my last trip, spend $5 OOP (Out of Pocket) and still get $15 towards my next purchase, which I will use again tomorrow!!!!
If you do not have the flyer from the mail you can view it online or just pick one up at the store.
