FIVE

Proverbsmomof3 tagged me last week.  The theme revolves around lists of 5.  I've done quite a few of these types of tags before, so I thought I'd put my own sassy twist on it and only list things that have to do with the number five (for the first two categories anyway).

FIVE Random Facts:

  1. When I was five years old, my only sibling, Debbles107, was born.
  2. I had my first child after being married for five years.
  3. I have owned five dogs in my lifetime, so far:  Sally and Cindy (both beagles), Bonnie (a Boston bulldog), Jody (a chihuahua terrier mix and the only male of the bunch) and Bridget (a boxer, whom you all have "met")

     4.  I have five in-law siblings:  Eric, Amy, Rebecca, Susan and Brady

     5.  I do five loads of laundry almost every week:  2 loads of colors, 2 loads of whites, and  one load of either towels and/or sheets.

FIVE Weird facts about me:

  1. One of my favorite groups, currently is Family Force Five.  My favorite song right now is "Love Addict," and here is the video.  This is not your typical 30-something, home school mom music, so only click play if you like to ROCK.  Also, while at least 3 of the band members have Christian testimonies, they are not what you would call a Christian band (although I've never heard anything offensive).  The video contains some girls in short shorts.

     2.  I've only held five paying jobs during the course of my life:  a model/salesperson at a clothing store, a daycare worker, an English teacher for grades 7-10, a substitute teacher, and an after-school childcare and homework lab worker.

     3.  I lived in five different states before moving to TN:  IN, CA, FL, SC and IL

     4.  I'm allergic to five different types of antibiotics:  Sulfa, Erythromycin, Penicillin, Ampicillin and Amoxycillin (it takes me for-ev-er to fill out paperwork at the doctor's office).

     5.  I took my driver's test five times before I finally passed.  I had parallel parking issues.

FIVE things on my desk:

1.  my Cricut machine

2.  my ATG adhesive gun

3.  a pile of scrap paper that I haven't filed away yet

4.  a little zipper pouch of various paper-crafting tools that I like to have within reach

5.  a Star Wars drawing that Harrison gave me over the weekend

FIVE of my best friends:

  1. Big D
  2. my kids
  3. Indiana Mimi
  4. Debbles107
  5. my girl in-laws, Ma (Big D's mom) and all my sisters-in-law

FIVE people I'm tagging:

  1. you
  2. you
  3. you
  4. you
  5. you

Now, hop to it!

What a creative way to do this tag. You are always so clever. Love your answers and the pics to go along with them. Thanks for humoring me.

That is a lot of 5's! I'm thinking I could only think of a few things. Not lots of 5's. Hey, how do I get my links to work? I am at a loss as to why I can't get them to work. Could you drop a little hint? To the desperate and disillusioned!

I love the picture of your boxer. Our boxer, Emma, died about 6 years ago after giving us 10 years of pleasure. she was huge - a black mask and very dark brindled. We loved her. Now we have, Ollie, a chihauhau ;)

Pa and I are thrilled and thanking God for the newest little twig on the family tree!

After Christmas, we went back to Crackerbarrel and bought two more children's Christmas stockings, so...if you have twins, we're prepared :)

Annie, you're already a great big sister and, Harrison, you're going to be an awesome big brother!!

Love and blessing and congrats to all,
Ma
