Quiet no more...

So much has been going on around here...so at the request of my friend Carri, I will give everyone an update.

It is August here in Kentucky. The weather has turned hot for the past two weeks, but overall this summer has been so mild and beautiful. I love the sunshine, the green trees, and the cicadas serenading us to sleep. Baseball season has ended, it was a super fun run for us. We had three playing ball this spring and our 7-year old, Jeremiah, made all-stars. He had a blast! And we all really enjoyed cheering for him. Bethany still asks...Baseball? pease.....!

I am potty training Bethany, which has been going so good! Thank you Jesus! She has been in panties now for two weeks with NO accidents in the past week and a half. This hasn't been the easiest but SO much easier than numbers one and three! I have also been super motivated to get her out of diapers before the baby is born in December. If things stay going like they are we are in good shape! The plan is no diapers and falling asleep in a child-free bed...we all know that with four little ones you are just not going to wake up with out at least one little somebody in bed!

We started school Monday. All went without a hitch and I think that we have a group of eager learners this year. We have a fourth grader, first grader, and Kinderkid this year. Not to mention a super smart 2 year old! I am super excited to do American History this year, especially as, hint hint here is some more news, we will be moving to DC for seven month starting in October! We have always loved that area and it holds so much fun for learning about our nation!

We will have an ultrasound on Thursday and if Baby wants, we will know what our little one will be. I am very excited! This is only the second time we will know before D-day. Usually I love the anticipation, but this time I have to pack up before having babykins and therefore not only is it just to cool to know, but super helpful too! Kinda hoping Baby is a girl, but we just like babies around here and arn't picky at all!  :)

Jesse has been traveling a lot lately and it is still hard as we just arn't willing to make it a way of like for our family to be seperated all the time! So, with God's help I will make it till October.

On a more somber note...The Lord called home a very special yound man in our church family. Joshua Aaron Hingle went to be with Jesus Monday afternoon. He death was accidental and very much a tragedy. We loved Josh greatly and our lives will be less full with him gone, but always more full for God having blessed our lives with him. Please join us in prayer for the Hingle family as they seek the Lord as the heal.

Blessed be the name of the Lord.
