For the past week our famly has been in Virginia Beach sharing a beach house with my brother-in-law and his family which includes 5 kiddos the same ages as my four...2- 9 year olds, 2- 7 year olds, 5.5 year old, 4.5 year old, 4 year old, 2 year old, and a 17 month old. The there are the four of us parents...me being VERY pregnant too! We have been having a blast, but boy can it be crazy busy!

We start our days out with a little school, when your cousins are nearby only around a hour to two can get done! Then we play inside, or go to the beach...the last three days it has been raining so the mall has given us a nice play area to hang out at.

We have been so enjoying each other, it was a year in September since our families have been together. You see these 9 kiddos were raised more like sets of twins than cousins for the past 9 years, then the cousins moved to SC. We have missed them SO much! This has been so fun!!!

The logistics of having 13 in one house are pretty amazing to pull off when it isn't second nature...kudos to my friends with much larger families than my own! Laundry times two is one thing, but add in pounds of SAND and it gets wild. Then sweeping, vacumning, and cooking. And boy, dishes....that is a scary place to go to! Dawn and I have been seriously working, but it's been fun to share in the load together...if only we were both pregnant! We used to hit bellies in the kitchen when our famailies lived together!

Tonight is our last night together except for a brief visit they'll pay us on their way thru DC from Maine. That'll be fun!!!
