Sep. 25, 2009 - Show and Tell Friday.........Bloggy Friends
This week we had the pleasure of getting together with a blog friend and her family. It was such a pleasure to have them in our home. We met them last year at a park so we knew they weren't internet stalkers or anything and felt good about inviting them to our home this year.
Before they arrived, Kade asked me, "Does the family coming over have a lot of kids?"
I said, "They have five."
He said, "That's ALL?"
Because, you know, only having five children is a small family
So, what does it look like when two "big" homeschool families get together..............
And their little guy is just about a month older than our new one. It's amazing the difference one month makes.
I'm so thankful for my internet friends. You all are such an encouragement to me. It's nice to know there are others out there who share some of the same values we have.
To "meet" other cool bloggy people, head over to CanadaGirl for Show and Tell today. Someday I am going to have to go up there to Canada just so I can meet Mary (and see that gorgeous scenery she shares on her blog).
That's awesome! I just love those photos, especially the one with all the little kids on the couch. Too cool. I'm glad it was a fun visit. Maybe we'll get together next.

How wonderful that you got to meet another bloggy friend!!! It is indeed a blessing to have others in our lives - no matter how far away - that do struggle with the same things and understand when we have a meltdown. *smile* I hope to meet other bloggers at some point as well; your meeting has encouraged me that it will happen sooner or later.
What FUN to meet another kindred spirit. I just LOVED getting to see all those little feet in one spot. How cute. You all look so happy and having a GREAT time, I am going to have to think of many things to lure you up here. hmmmmm thinking. I would love it if you came up to the Great North ! I have my red welcome door open ANY time for you and your kin. Sending you HUGE (((HUGS))) my SSiC and bloggy friend.
