House Building

We are in the middle of building a new house. Boy oh boy, what a lot of decisions to make. Everyday, I have numerous decisions to make on top of a busy day of school. It is exciting, stressful and fun all at the same time. Never a dull moment.

we built our house over 3 years ago and i remember how busy i was during that time. but it was fun and now i'm so thankful to be in it. you have a beautiful blog.

Hi Andrea... I saw one of your comments on another site and checked out your blog and I love when I come across people that seem so like-minded! I am Bridget, wife to Troy and Mom to my 5 blessings! Can't wait to check your blog out more in the future!!
We had a 2nd story put onto our house a couple years back and I can relate with all the decisions and all! (not quite the same as a BRAND NEW HOUSE... but still a lot of decisions!) Plus... when the contractor took the roof off... he didn't tarp well and we got unexpected rains!!! We woke up to our ceiling leaking and water pouring out of our light sockets!!! So... we got all the kids out and the ins. co. ended up paying for us to live in a motel for 3.5 months while they remodeled our whole downstairs due to water damage. THAT was where the real decision making came in... we needed new everything... flooring, cabinets, etc! It sure was nice to come home after it was all said and done!!
So... despite the hard parts... I know the fun you are having and can't wait to hear about the finished product! In Christ, Bridget

We are finally starting our building our house on Monday !!!! I started to make the first decsions for the details of the house TODAY , yipee !!! I miss hearing from you. stop by sometime.
