Rainbow House

I took the kids to our new house yesterday and got a little chuckle. The painters had the colors up on almost all of the walls. As we walked in the back mudroom entrance our eyes were hit with an invigorating splash of tangerine. Walking through the house we saw colors of various shades; green, chocolate, red, blue, purple and gold! I loved it! As we were leaving my third eldest proclaimed that he was very excited as he was going to get to live in a 'rainbow house'. Too cute!

Blessings,

Andrea

Cute!
The house sounds adorable.. at least the color scheme does! So much more energetic and exciting than plain white everywhere. I've started 'colorizing' my life, I've got red, yellow, and green so far, and I love it! My 'palmetto' green bedroom walls are so soothing! And my buttery yellow entry is so bright and cheerful.
Enjoy your rainbow house,
have a good one,
ali

Great Rainbow House
How wonderfully exciting to be preparing for a new home! We made a mistake with our last move, we moved within the same city and so before possession we were able to drive by the new house repeatedly to work toward our Autistic son accepting the move. This house is bigger than the last and so we had been commenting on it being "a monster house", you'd think we would know about the literal problem he has, but we missed that one. We lived here for a couple of months before he finally corrected the comment and said that "NO monsters live in our house!" What a shock!!! I felt so horrible that he had thought the whole time that we might have monsters living in the house. A Rainbow house would have been so much better. :-) Of course, we are slowly painting and successfully turning this house into a Rainbow house! Enjoy the craziness, what a blessing.

sounds like my kind of house!! I sure can't wait to get some color up here at our new place. Well, there is color in the form of wallpaper... but I have no unicorn or mermaid pictures to match it!! so it'll all have to go. (I'll be aplogizing profusely to my cute little girl piano students who love it!)
