Fall

Well, the days are getting shorter and my entries are far and few between these days but for me that is a good thing. It means that I am not spending as much time on the computer. Quick up-date: I continue to pray for a miracle everyday for the eyes of my two deaf children. We are in our 7the week of school. Just got back from a GREAT beach trip which I will share more about in my next post along with some pics.

     Psalm 127:1

Unless the Lord builds the house,

 its builders labor in vain.

Unless the Lord watches over the city,

The watchmen stand guard in vain.

This was the verse I meditated on this morning and is also one we wrote on the walls of our new construction (I will share more about that too in another post). My devotion today was about how our priorities each day determine the balance in our lives. If we are following agendas and schedules that we have set ourselves, we are likely to be out of balance. God’s plans for our days are often different than our plans. Only the Lord can show me on a daily basis what id truly important. I have to take the initiative to ask Him.

Food for thought: What throws your homeschool out of balance? How can you change that?

Blessings,

Andrea

Wow!
I was out for a random blog and found your blog... I haven't had a chance to catch up completely, so am not sure about your update. I will stand in agreement with your prayer, though, and will try to catch up more later.

You have eight blessings.... That is wonderful!! I have six and would love to be blessed with more. We take what the Lord gives us. My sister has eight kids - four boys and four girls. It is so fun when we have a family get together - my 2 brothers each have 3 kids, I have 6, my sister has 8. We have our own play group!!

I look forward to reading more from you.

Praying
We are still praying for your DC too.
Have you swatted any Muggies lately, or is it Love-bugs now. They are everywhere at our house.
Keep us posted about your DC's conditions. Blessings, Traci
