These volano models were a bit more difficult to make because of the size, but they worked hard on them. After a while, they had three mini-volcanoes to show for it. (Volcano Model & Directions)
We created these fun Native American Medicine Pouches. We used foam sheets for the shape and plastic string. They had a ton of fun making these! (Pouch Directions)
I am a bit behind on our homeschool blog. There is just so much going on around here and has been for some time. I finally found a moment to get pictures of a couple of crafts that we made for our Early Immigrants Unit. The first is of our Irish shamrock hats (Shamrock Hat Template). Alex was not too happy that he had to wear his for me to take a picture. The second one is of our Statue of Liberty crowns (Lady Liberty Hat Template). Alex was not too happy about this picture either. :)
