I think plants are just amazing. It is so neat to watch them grow. I love watching my houseplants turn towards the light. Isaiah would be all over your strawberries! He wants to grow strawberries VERY bad. I think I'll let him grow a few in a container.

Beautiful, Kim!!!!
To answer your question, we do use ABeka for History as well. I need to do more w/ Science though, so that's why I love the hands on stuff!!! I like Saxon because it is so simple, but I feel like I need to challenge them more. I also know people who do not care for Saxon math either..lol. I honestlly feel like I'm getting in a funk and I need to change everything up. Does that make sense? Pray for me!!! Love ya Kim! Alicia

How neat. We grow plants like this too-last year we had a nice crop of basil. The strawberries will be delicious. Are you making a complete garden or doing raised beds?

They are coming along nicely Kim (and kids!).

We are working on building a biosphere to live on Mars this week. The kids' imaginations are in full force with ideas and designs.

What is your weather like there? Is it warming up?

Blessings,
Theresa

We have a few (okay...way too many) tomato plants started. Imagine a green forest of tomato sprouts in a small container! *lol*

Now, if ONLY I can get them outside safely!

About Me

"We are all meant to be naturalists, each in his own degree, and it is inexcusable to live in a world so full of the marvels of plant and animal life and to care for none of these things." ~ Charlotte Mason

"Imagination does not stir at the suggestion of the feeble, much diluted stuff that is too often put into children’s hands." ~ Charlotte Mason
