We've had a great week learning about how we can help keep God's handiwork beautiful! Here are a few pictures from our week.
Earth rice crispie treats. They were Yumm-O!

We went on a walk and picked up whatever litter we could find. The kids thought this was a game, hunt for trash.

We also learned about recycling. Here we made recycled paper. Mom added a couple flowers from our garden.

As a family, we had 6 bags of garbage in 4 days. For a family of 7, not sure if that's good or bad.
We talked about acid rain and it's impact on God's and man's creations. We used vinegar ( acid ) and chalk ( limestone statues ) to show the effects of it. I showed them pictures of statues ~ before and after they were hit with acid rain.
Here is the chalk dissolving in the vinegar.

Of course we discussed many scriptures that talk about God making the earth, the birds, and the trees and how it's up to us to care for His creation. I was challenged as well, that’s a plus!!
I think this was a productive week of studies......
