A little of Everything

When I was young I wanted to be a wife and mom more than anything. When I became a Christian I wanted to serve the Lord more than anything. I am now a wife, mom, and servant for the Lord, and now I want to be the best that I can be with the tools that He has given me more than anything.

the wee hours

it used to be quiet in the wee hours. when you sat nursing the baby, humming a soothing worship song, praying for the future of sleeping children.
now, it's not so quiet in the wee hours. you're tired but you can't sleep. wondering if it's your aging body, or children breaking curfew, or the chatter your teens make as they are still awake while transitioning from children to grown-ups( synonyms were blocked), not knowing that mom is also awake, again praying for the future of her not so young children.
the wee hours...knowing that HE is still hearing your prayers!
