Below is a picture of Adam Ginsberg and I. It was very cool to listen to him and learn of all the opportunities that are available if you get serious about selling on EBAY. During the convention my wife and I decided to make EBAY our home business. If you goto Adams site he has some pretty awesome tools (check them out here)to help you out in becoming a successful buyer and seller on EBAY.

County Fair

Our County Fair Starts tommorrow!

My oldest daughter will be showing rabbits, she has a Holland Lop Buck, and is taking a cooking project. She is doing really well, as this is her first year for the cooking project and her second year for the rabbits. I think she will do really well in both, she knows her stuff about the rabbits and although her first year in cooking, has done very very well (I know from experience)!

Next year we are hoping to take some goats to the fair, what kind I am not for sure yet, probably Boer goats. I am actually hoping to get a couple bred does and be able to have our own fair goats for next year as well as sell some.

We will see!

Some men and women who mocked God. (Galatians 6:7)

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7): "Be not deceived;
God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Here are some men and women who mocked God:

JOHN LENNON:
Some years before during his interview with an American Magazine, he
said: "Christianity will end, it will disappear.
I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his
subjects were too simple, Today we are more
famous than Him" (1966).
Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus
Christ, was shot six times.

TANCREDO NEVES (President of Brazil):
During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500 votes from his
party, not even God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the
votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.

CAZUZA (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):
During a show in Caneco ( Rio de Janeiro ), whilst smoking his
cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said: "God, that's
for you.". He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.

THE MAN WHO BUILT TITANIC:
After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the
Titanic would be.
With an ironic tone he said: "Not even God can sink it" The result: I
think you all know what happened to the Titanic.

MARILYN MONROE:
She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He is
a preacher and Evangelist and the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her.
After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said: I don't need your Jesus"
A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.

BON SCOTT:
The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang: "Don't
stop me, I'm going down all the way, wow the highway to hell".
On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his vomit.

CAMPINAS/SP IN 2005
In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a
friend. The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the
drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter - holding her
hand, who was already seated in the car: "MY DAUGHTER, GO WITH GOD AND MAY HE PROTECT YOU", She responded: ONLY IF HE (GOD) TRAVELS IN THE BOOT(trunk), COZ INSIDE HERE IT'S ALREADY FULL" Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been,  but surprisingly, the boot was intact.
The police said there was no way the boot could have remained intact.
To their surprise, inside the boot was a crate of eggs, none was broken.

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name
that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.

Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive. JESUS!!!

This is why we homeschool.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 KJV

Senator Mike DeWine

Saturday July 1, 2006 my kids, wife and I were invited, along with a few other Homeschool families, to walk in local parade with Senator Mike Dewine to help represent his support for families.

This was an awesome experience, not only for my wife and I, but for our kids also. It was very cool to actually stand there after the parade and talk one on one with the Senator.

(My wife, Senator Mike Dewine, our four kids and myself after the parade).

Debt Free

My father-in-law let us borrow a copy of Dave Ramsey's The Total Money Makeover book a few months ago and my wife and I are on the road to financial freedom.  We are paying off debt!!!  How awesome is that!!!  It is so great to realize that the Joneses are broke and we don't have to try to keep up with them.  What freedom!  So now we are tightwads...pinching pennies and doing without and happier than ever!!!  If you are in debt and want out, I highly recommend Dave Ramsey's Debt Snowball.  It's a great ride!!

Getting the Barn Ready

Last night my wife and I and our four kids went out to the barn to clean up for the goats we are buying.  Boy, what a big help those 8 little hands were in getting the job done quickly!

Our barn has not been used since before we moved to the farm (2002) and it had quite a bit of firewood stacked inside where we are planning on keeping the goats.

We have been working on loading the wood up and moving it to another building, last night was our third truck load of wood. (I think we have maybe one and a half more truck loads to go). Then I have one door on the barn to repair and buy a gate for the fence and we are in business.

Joel Comm

I am getting so excited about our trip to Nashville for Rhea's Entrepreneur Days.  I am attending a special workshop with Joel Comm, "Dr. Adsense" on the Thursday before the conference begins.

Joel is a homeschool dad and very successful internet entrepreneur and he will be teaching a full day closed workshop on all his secrets to success.

I had the privilege of being on a conference call with Joel and Rhea.  On the call, he offered to send an autographed copy of his new book, The Adsense Code, to the first 15 people who registered for his conference.  My book came in the mail yesterday!

Check out the conference below:

This week (my wife and kids and I) decided to start raising goats.

I raised pigs when I was younger but I know nothing about these animals.

If you have any suggestions feel free to let me know...

I am pretty excited about it though. But have alot of work ahead of me to get my barn in shape on the inside, look forward to getting started.
