Cleo Leana
Cleo is Kate's calico cat, and she's 7 years old. we could tell you her "story" but Rose wrote a poem and it tells the story in a interesting way. :-)
"Her Highness"
She sat at our door one summer night,
with pleading eyes and an eager cry.
she waited 'till darkness turned to light,
yet no one did come nigh.
At night the door she did keep guard,
lest another cat her place would steal.
in the morning she did roam the yard
herself she would not conceal.
her hope to be owned was nearly lost,
as night after night she cried;
how much time would it cost?
how long would she be denied?
And then one day,her longing was fulfilled!
for to her the door did open!
her great desire was stilled,
kind words to her were spoken.
now she thinks she is the Queen,
she thinks she's th leader of the trio,
And she keeps herself quite clean.
"Her highness' " name is Cleo.
