ITS SNOWING IN CHICAGOLAND!

Yep, believe it or not...we've got snow. My boys said, "Christmas!" Well, not quite...but I do have most of my shopping done for them! YIPEE!

Its a gorgeous snowfall...pretty heavy. I know it won't stick around long because the ground is still warm'ish, but it sure is pretty. The boys could not wait to get outside in it. So they are bundled up in their snowpants and coats, hats and gloves. Connor needs boots this year...so for today its his tennies.

No news on the homefront, other than my DISCOVERY TOYS business is off to a great start. Better than I could have ever imagined. Maybe I've found my niche! Right now I have "7" -- count 'em SEVEN parties booked, including another one of my own, and (hopefully) one for my brother and s-i-l in KC. Its such a great time to shop for the kids. And having a party is a great way to earn free stuff! I had my 'kick-off' party last week -- I won $160 in FREE TOYS. Plus 2 half-price items. Most of that will be Christmas -- and will double as my demo toys! So, I'm happy its going so well. I know there will be some disappointments, but that goes with it. I've just never had such a great start to ANYTHING. And I figured it out the other day, I've tried TWELVE direct-sales businesses!! TWELVE! Crazy. I just want to find something FUN, and something that will generate a little extra $. I'm not really that ambitious -- or maybe I'm just guarded -- but my sights are not set on BIG money...just a little extra. And I'll work as much as I can, and ask God to bless it. What comes out the other side will be His benevolence. I'll work at it, but leave the increase to him!
