Colonial book in the works...

Our illustrator is working on the drawings for our new book coming out later in the spring called What Really Happened in Colonial Times.  Isn't this fantastic?

By the way, her name is Narcissa Whitman and she traveled in a covered wagon out to Oregon Territory.  What an amazing woman!  Can you see the strength in her face?  She had to be strong and courageous to make such a trip, in my opinion.

Did Darla Dixon do this drawing as well? It is a beautiful portrait. I look forward to reading about this brave lady. Could you let us know who's going to be in this book? Is it 8 people again?

Thanks

Yes, she did do this portrait and all the others for the book. The other biographical figures included in the book are Pocahontas, Lady Alicia Lisle, Rachel Walker Revere, James Cook, Lord Horatio Nelson, Catherine Ferguson, Lucretia Mott and Narcissa Whitman. It's going to be a very interesting book.
