A Funny Poem
Today was a grammar test day in our little school. We use Shurley Grammar and part of the test is writing a paragraph in your journal, simple nuh? My dearest daughter was having trouble,so I suggested that she write about having nothing to say. I thought that you all would enjoy this.
Nothing to Say:
By Caroline
I am Caroline with nothing to say. So I sit here and pray, that God will give me something to say.
I don't think there is much to say after that.

That is a lovely piece of writing. I hope when I have nothing to say, that I write it as nicely as that. Hugs to you--

Mar. 24, 2006 - On those codes...

...we have to type in--how does that work for color-blind people. I almost missed a five in the last one, just because it was green--it didn't catch my eye like the other numbers. So tell me, brilliant one, are there people who can't type those codes because they don't process those colors as easily?Perhaps I'm thinking too hard? We were taking your name in vain today--I was sharing pics of Maggie's b-day party with my friends and Linda said, "I met her..." and we proceeded to share my most memorable game of Trivial Pursuit with our friend Laura. As I ponder it all, what amazes me most is that with my bankrupt brain cells, you're still willing to be my friend :) Love ya!

That reminds me of a gravestone in Scotland that reads " Here lie I, Martin Elginbrodde
Hae mercy on ma soul Lord God
As I wad do were I Lord God
And ye were Martin Elginbrodde"
Nice pithy poem Caroline!

It appears your daughter has mastered the verse telling us to be slow to speak and quick to listen. What a wise child. Do you think she'd give me some lessons?
