I have never felt my heart ever try to burst out of my very being like this before.

It never hurt like this when:

She ran a fever,

She moved away and

 said goodbye to her best friend ever,

She fractured her wrist on rollerblades,

She lost her teeth.....

her first week away at camp...

My heart is crying out loud and darn it,

they just don't make

band-aids big enough

 to hold the tears for pain like this.

What were we thinking?

I am so excited to be leaving for a mini get-away

with my dear artsy-fun friend Sue.

We are heading for Sherwood to  a fabulous

 Farm, Antique and Art Faire.

Everything I could wish for... save family.

Photography, llamas, art, quilts, gardens, barns, farm animals, the sweet smell of dairy goats, fabric, food...

Did I say LLAMAS?.....relaxing, berries, pie, no kids.....

I did say Llamas though didn't I ?

Well, I am sure to have something to talk about as I have left this blog rather dry and crusty this summer.

Saving the best for last?

For the next three days My friend and I are going to do just that....

Eat Dessert First.......

then go play with the Llamas!

As I was watering my garden...I caught out of the corner of my eye....

Ahhh, not to worry...my old friend from last year who will sadly, feast on the frog families that have overpopulated my backyard paradise....

And maybe, just maybe

keep this guy out of trouble for at least a day or two!

There is nobody eager to go back to school in this neck of the woods.
