Friend Makin Mondays


I've been seeing several of my blogging friends participate in Friend Makin Mondays so I decided to join in this week. It's 20 questions.

1. Do you cook every night?
Yes.

2. What kind of laundry detergent do you use & why?

All Free and Clear Liquid

3. Do you do laundry every day or loads at a time?
I do laundry every day except Sunday.

4. How often do you eat out per week?
During the school year, we eat out VERY infrequently. Once every 2-3 months. In the summer, we like to go on little day trips so we will eat out more.


5. Where do you usually eat out?
McDonalds or Chic fil a

6. What is your favorite retail store?
I like Target but rarely shop there.

7. What's your favorite thing to drink?
Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper


8. Do you take vitamins? What kind?

Yes, Super B, Calcium, and a multi-vitamin

9. What percentage of the household chores to you do?
If cooking is a chore, then 75%. Excluding cooking, probably 50%.


10. Do your children do chores? {Or will they, did they, etc}
Yes, my children vacuum their rooms, sweep the dining room and kitchen, load laundry, clean bathrooms, and dust.

11. Do you go to church?

Yes.

12. Do you have a housework schedule?
Yes, we do different chores on different days of the week.

13. Do you keep a working budget?
Yes, we have kept a budget for 16 years now. (our entire marriage.) Not saying we always stick to it completely.

14. What do you do at night as a family?
We eat dinner together,watch tv sometimes, play games sometimes.

15. How do you prepare yourself for a new week?
Plan for school and look over the calendar.

16. What do your mornings look like?
MWF, up at 5:15 to go to the Y. Shower before kids get up at 7:30. Get everyone breakfast, morning chores, then start school.
17. What time do you get up in the mornings?
5:15 on MWF, 6:30 or so on TH

18. What time do you go to bed at night?

Usually by 10 in the school year.

19. How do you manage all of the paperwork that floods into your household? {bills, school work, magazines, ads, etc}
We have a basket on the wall for incoming papers. After they're taken care of we file them or throw them away depending on what it is.

20. How do you keep your household organized? {calendars, charts, etc}
Working with an on-line calendar this year. I have a wall calendar in the kitchen too.
