In God's Hand
Jun. 20, 2009 -
Hey! Yesterday I went in to work at four, and got off at eleven. The first 3 hours I was super energetic, and was so happy, but then Beth left, and so did my energy. Don't get me wrong, I was still happy. lol. I had a good time even after she left, but just not as good.
Wednesday rocked! At 12:45 we all went to Wal Mart, and it was soo great to be there again! I hadn't been in awhile. Rosa had a doctor appointment at 3:30 so we went there. And of course in the evening, I went to youth group. We played a game sharks and minnows. I had never even heard of it until then, but it was fun.
Okay, so anyways, that's about it. lol. Lord bless! |

Jun. 14, 2009 - sorry so late
Here I am! lol. So lets see...May 11th I started my first day of work, and I really like working at McDondald's. The people I work with are really great. I only dislike one of my co-workers. I try to like him, but it's super hard. I'm nice to him, but don't like him. lol. But hey, God commands us to love everyone, He doesn't say we gotta like them.
Today I missed church, which was very disappointing. I was scheduled to work 7-10, so I was going to head over to church after work, and woulda only missed Sunday School, but somebody didn't come in, so they asked me to stay and cover for her, so reluctantly I did. I was suppose to get off at one...but ended up staying until 2:15. I'm usually scheduled seventeen hours or so a week, but end up getting at least twenty-two or more because I stay late so often or I'm called in.
I love going to youth group, and go almost every Wednesday night. It's so cool because they quit scheduling me for Wednesdays, and I didn't even ask them to, so I can attend youth group most every Wednesday.
Um...a couple weeks ago or so I got a new cell phone, with texting. I've been wanting a new phone for awhile, something cooler, lol, and I've been wanting texting for a loong time, so totally rocks!
This past Wednesday right after youth group I came home to babysit, and a little bit later my two friends came over. We played Bible Trivia, which was fun. You think you know a lot about the Bible but when playing Bible games, you realize you don't know as much as you thought you did. At least, that goes for me anyways.
In a coupla of weeks I'm going back home. I'm sorta excited; I get to get my license, and I have been wanting my license since I was fifteen, so that's exciting. I'll miss this church, and my work, but I'll get another job. Probably Burger King, altho I'd really prefer the library, or McDonalds again. lol.
Um...right, Rosa & Matt got a computer the other day with internet, so that is why I'm finally writing again. I had been meaning to go the library, but never found time.
So, I guess that's all. I'll try to write sooner next time. Lord bless! |

May. 20, 2009 - I am back!
Wow, it's been awhile since I've been on. I'm at the library, holding my 2-yr. old niece, so excuse any mistakes. lol. Anyways, lets see...life has been busy lately. April 25th I moved in with my older sister about 2 hrs and 15 minutes from home, and on Monday I began job hunting. Up here I can ride my bike to work, but back home I'd have to have Dad drive me, and that really wouldn't work out too well, so I came here. May 4th I got hired on at McDonald's, the place I actually wanted to get hired on at, so I was super-excited. I just really thanked God for letting me get the job I wanted.
The 29th I went to youth group up here. Ah, such a great bunch! So friendly and accepting. It was just really great. And I've been going to the church every Sunday; usually Sunday school too, for the youth at 9:30 Sunday mornings too. And youth group is tonight, so I'm excited about that. I love going.
May 11th I worked for the first time. Only for two hours, but it was pretty cool. I worked the cash register. Then I worked Wednesday and Thursday. I missed youth group, so I was disappointed. But I was happy to be getting more hours in, so I wasn't going to complain. Wednesday, though, I had an amazing trainer! He was so patient, really friendly...he was great!
Saturday, the 16th, the manager called and told me to come in. See, I had been scheduled to work 6am-1pm, but then a different mananger changed it to 4-8. So I went in at seven, and boy was it hectic! I don't know the breakfast stuff, so I did poorly on the cash register.
Saturday was also my little brother's second birthday. He was born May 16th 2007, but didn't live. It was really hard on all of us, and still is. I still miss him...But thru difficult times ya just gunna lean more on God, remember that His ways aren't our ways. And that no matter what, He still loves us. He won't abandon us.
Anyways, Sunday my sister and her family went home for the day, but since I was working 2-8 I couldn't go. I was really disappointed about that, but I survived.
Today Dad and Nicole came up. They brought Tori back, because she stayed up there for a few days so she could go to the zoo with them.
And here I am, at the library. Anyways, I will be working tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. Saturday will be a loong day; I work 2-11:30!
Well, I'm gunna get off here. Lord bless!

Apr. 14, 2009 - Choices
I can love or hate
I can forgive or hold a grudge
I can respond patiently or break
I can be content or fight
I can use soft words or reply in anger
I can be submissive or rebel
I can be compassionate or cruel
I can lend or be selfish
I can be helpful or cold
We all face choices
We all have to decide
Which way we'll follow
Life is made of choices
We can choose wisely
and enjoy our time here,
however long it may be
Or we can choose poorly
and be full of bitterness and hate
The choice is yours, you decide
Nobody else can make it for you
What are you going to pick?
the hard way is the right way
The way that leads to peace and joy
We can't do it on our own
it isn't in our sinful nature
to be kind, to do right
But with God's help
we can be over-comers of sin
My poem I wrote back in March. |

Apr. 3, 2009 - Life Is
This is an article from January, I guess. I just found it one OneNewsNow.com, and thought I'd share it with y'all. But anyways, I thought it was pretty good, and just wanted to put it up. I really like Ronald Reagan's quote. And as for the possibility of the baby being abused or neglected, the mother can put her baby up for adoption. Any woman/girl who gets pregnant and doesn't want her baby, should put him/her up for adoption, because murder should never ever be an option. And isn't it crazy how if someone kills a someone else, they can have life sentence in prison, yet look at all the unborn babies who have been legally murdered! something is totally twisted about it. But anyways, I'll shut up now and let ya read the article. Sorta lengthy, but sit tight and read. Or finish it later.
by Gina Parker Ford
While this week is filled with the celebration, the euphoria, and sadly the media hype of inaugurating a new President, it is vital for Americans not to overlook an important date that takes place just two days after Barack Obama's inauguration. January 22nd marks the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, and the mourning of the loss of life of 50 million babies that have been legally aborted since this decision made abortion on demand the law of the land.
What does it mean to be pro-life? Life is not just a political position. Every child is a gift. Every child is a unique person. Life is the soft small bundle of joy that is born. Life is the crying that keeps mother and daddy up all night. Life is hearing your child say “Mama” and “Daddy” for the first time. Life is watching your child take his or her first steps.
Life is toys all over the house, dirty diapers, laughter, crying, and potty training. It is Barbie dolls and trucks, kindergarten, birthday parties, sports, piano lessons, and ballet classes. It is bruises, swing sets, and dogs and cats. It’s report cards, prom, high school graduation, and college. Life is work, marriage, and babies. This is what every unborn child should have the right to experience.
The Psalmist David wrote that each person is fearfully and wonderfully made by the Giver of Life. Our Creator has even numbered the hairs of our head. Truly, life is meant to be a celebration.
President Ronald Reagan said, “Abortion is advocated only by persons who have themselves been born.” They have tasted life, but are callous to those who have not.
Proponents of killing unborn babies argue that abortion is necessary to avoid the possibility of child abuse or neglect due to an unwanted pregnancy or to avoid “punishing” a young teenage mother with the responsibility of raising a child. Consider the craziness of how liberals think! They take the untenable position that to avoid possible abuse and neglect that one should just kill the unborn child! Is it any wonder that Princeton’s Peter Singer, a professor of bioethics no less, has taken this thinking to its logical conclusion and now advocates infanticide? Liberals seek to orchestrate society so that “unseen” violence and death are the answers to life’s challenges.
This culture of death propagates the message to our young people that irresponsible behavior does not have consequences. It says to place self first before others by advocating that having a career and material things are more important than family and motherhood.
Rather than encouraging young people to have courage and hope when faced with difficulties, liberals promote ending life as the answer to life’s challenges. Mother Teresa wisely warned, “Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want.”
Sadly, abortion does not embrace the grace and forgiveness of God, the power of love, the promise of beauty for ashes, and the love and support from friends, family, and community. Instead, abortion kills the innocent unborn child, leaves the mother with emotional and physical scars that haunt her for a life-time, and rapes the conscience of a nation.
Let this passing anniversary serve as a reminder that we must continue to pray and to be a voice for the unborn child.

Apr. 2, 2009 - Wal-Mart Funnies
* Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
* Walk up to an employee and tell them "Code 3 in Housewares" and see what they do.
* Go to the Service Desk and ask to put a bag of M&M's on lay away.
* Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.
* Set up a tent in the camping department and tell other shoppers you'll invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department.
* When a clerk asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?"
* Look right into the security camera, use it as a mirror, and pick your nose.
* While handling guns in the hunting department, ask the clerk if he knows where the antidepressants are. (If your Wal*Mart don't got guns, go to the knives.)
* Dart around the store suspiciously loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.
* Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through, say "PICK ME!"
* When an announcement comes over the loud speaker, assume the fetal position and scream "NO! NO! It's those voices again!!"
* Go into a fitting room, shut the door and wait awhile; and then yell, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!"
*******
Some of these are pretty funny (I left out the couple of dumb ones) and I thouhgt I'd share these with y'all. Hope ya enjoy 'em! (I got them in an email two years ago. Yes, I do keep my emails, don't I? lol.)

Mar. 28, 2009 - a surprise
Guess what?? we got snow! Sunday the man at the auction said you'd need a snowblower this weekend. I was hoping he'd be wrong, as I am ready for spring, but we did get snow! and actually, I love it. Dad and I left at about two, swung by the library, then went to his work. It was sleeting then, but by four I believe, it was snowing. And snowing. Still is. And actually I am going to go outside in a minute, after I type this up. We're expecting 4-8 inches. I hope we get eight. lol. I have said on many occasions I'd rather have an extra long winter then a spring at all. So that'd be funny if that happened. I cannot stand spring and only reason I want it is because then summer. My favorite season!
Dad and I got a fuel pump for my brother's car, and after he got it all fixed, Dad and I left his work and came home.
Okay, lets it. I just wanted to inform ya of our snow. lol. But we're expecting a thunderstorm...like next week. Okay, anyways...I praise God we had a safe afternoon/early evening. So many people were off the road in ditches, and a few were in wrecks. I pray they are alright. And I thank God He kept us safe. |

Mar. 27, 2009 - Fireproof!
I watched 'Firepoof' yesterday morning!! I waited for sooo long to watch it! I had to wait until my library got it because I don't go to the theaters and we don't rent movies. lol. But I finally watched it. And it was so good!!
Yesterday was also Miranda's 10th birthday. My, she is getting old! lol. I remember back when we brought her home from the hospitals...that same night Nicole and I got into a fight. About what, I don't remember (c'mon, I was not even eight yet. lol).
And lemme think...I drove earlier this week. I backed up. I hate backing up. And I thought I was gunna do good this time-and I almost did except then I forgot to put it back in drive. That was pretty embarrassing and I felt like a total moron-an idiot.
I might be getting a job this summer!! I will be, if the place hires me. lol. I'll apply at three different places and hopefully one will call me. I'm pretty excited! if I do get a job, I'll pay for nursing camp. I totally don't mind, tho.
I think I oughta join the military. The Air Force is trying to get homeschoolers. I ought to go to them. Then I could to college for nursing when I get out and they'd pay for it. I think...if not, I'd have a lot of money saved up. lol. Of course, before any such decision, college or Air Force, I'll pray about it and seek the opinions of my parents and mature Christian friends.
I guess that's all. I just wanted to say I watched 'Fireproof'. And those of you who have not seen it, go watch it! lol. Jesus saves...even the worst of sinners. Isn't He wonderful?!?! |

Mar. 21, 2009 - Home!
Thursday my dad and sister Nicole (man, I cannot believe she'll be 16 next month!! lol) came up to get me from Rosa's. Matt, my brother-in-law, grilled and they got there just as we were ready to eat. We left at about 7:30 and stopped off at Casey's. Dad and I both a rootbeer and Nicole got a water. They got something to eat, but since I was still full from dinner, I declined the snack. After we got out of town, Dad pulled over and let me drive, so I got like two hours of night driving! which is totally great! I had soo much fun driving! lol. So now, I have at least three hours of night driving, maybe 3 1/2, I'm not totally certain.
Last night we had Mc'Donald's for dinner; hmm, soo good! I hadn't had Mickey D's in at least fourteen days, and I was wantin' a big juicy (technically greasy, but I call 'em juicy, lol) double cheeseburger...and a big mac. So that's what I had for dinner last night. Really good.
I had seven letters waiting for me Thursday night when we got home! I grabbed my fat snack and sat on my bed, soo happy and excited. All letters were fairly long too. Like, all were four pages or more. I wrote Lisa back first, and I finished her letter today: fifteen pages on notebook paper. She and I always wrote loong letters and actually used to write longer than that. lol.
Umm...lets see...today is super nice out, but I actually don't feel the greatest. Bleh...
Tomorrow my church is having a dinner. Bert's buddies, Timothy and Brandon, are going to come with us. Yay. Not. lol. No, they're alright, but sometimes they love to pester me and I don't enjoy that. lol.
Okay, so yeah, well, I think I am gunna go. I love Jesus Christ!! |

Mar. 16, 2009 - hey y'all
I'm at my sister's, Rosa's, and have been since March 5th. So if anybody has been checkin' to see if I've posted and I haven't, that is why.
The 5th was my mom's birthday and Callie's 6th birthday. Yep, they share the same birthday. lol. Funny. Anyways, Rosa, Matt and their two little girls, Tori (2) and Vallie (6 mts) came up. Around...um, 10:30 that night, I don't remember, they left and I went with them. I'll be going home this Saturday...and I'm excited because I have a bunch of letters waiting!! but I will miss it here. I'm considering movin' up here for the summer...Rosa keeps asking me.
Anyways, we didn't get to their house until like almost one o'clock. I drove the last hour or so here. It was fun, but definitely a little different driving the truck than the cavalier I'm used to driving!
Their friend, Blake, he's 23 I think, came up Tuesday last week. He was going to leave yesterday while we went to church but soon after we got home from church he was back. His truck broke down on him, so he and Matt worked on it all day yesterday...but I don't know when he's leaving.
Today is so nice out, so I decided I'd come to the library and write up a post really quick. I hope y'all have a good week!! Lord bless & take care! |

Mar. 3, 2009 - we got snow
Friday night/early Saturday morning it snowed. And it snowed a lot! I got up Saturday, peeked out my window and was just about blinded! lol. I was like "aw man! it snowed!" but a little bit later, I was excited. I love snow, so if we get a lot of it I enjoy it.
I finished Rachel Smiles; man, that is a good book! a very moving story, I must say.
On Saturday, as well, Nicole and I wrestled out in the snow and tumbled down the hill over and over. That was so much fun! I hit on my head on a rock that was under the snow, but it didn't really hurt and then later Nicole hit her back on the wood at around the fence. lol. She was like 'ahh!' so I was like, "what happened?" she goes "I hit my back." She was fine a few seconds later.
I loove 'Fireproof' by Pillar!! it is their best CD! that I've heard by them anyways...I haven't heard all their CDs. I also loove "Behind the Musick" by KJ-52 (pronounced five two, not fifty-two). The best songs off that album are "Are you real" (feat. Jon Micah from Kutless ), "Cry no more", "Life After death"...and um...I can't think of the other ones.
Sunday Dad, Nicole, Bert and I went to church; the little girls had a cold and Mom wanted them to sleep in some. The service was pretty good, I enjoyed it. Then around one Dad and I left. We stopped by the gas station, put some gas in the car and got something to drink. He got tea and I got strawberry kiwi juice, which is soo good!! we went to the building where he used to work so he could shut off an alarm, but his old boss had already been there, so then we went over to Petco real quick, then we went to Wal Mart and Home Depot, and then Mc'Donald's to get Mom a vanilla iced coffee, and then we came home. We were gone for about three hours I guess. It was fun! I like to get out on the weekends, altho I don't always.
Yesterday I got three letters; I was so excited!! but I already wrote everyone back. I seriously almost wrote letters all day yesterday! lol. I also filled out the FBs I got and the yearbook one 'em sent. In the morning before I went to the post office I read several chapters in Field of Blood by Eric Wilson. It is really good, but also a little different from what I'm used to reading. I really like it tho!
Oh, oh! I am soo excited!! awhile back when Mom bought Adam-12, I wanted her to get Emergency! as well, but she didn't. Well, I was on the library and looking thru the recent flims they had gotten, and I saw Emergency! season five, so I checked it out and they have 1-4 as well, so I requested seasons one and two. I cannot wait to watch them!! and when we went to the library Saturday I asked one of the librarians to request Bones season 1 for me...had to do it outta their system as they don't have it. I hope it comes in soon becuz I cannot wait to watch it!
Well, I am gunna get off, but I wanna close with this: "After death, then what? where will you spend eternity?" -Rachel Scott |

Feb. 26, 2009 - ncis fan
I watched season 5 of NCIS, my favorite television show. It ended...so sadly! Leon, the new director, is messing up Gibbs team! While I'm glad Jenny is outta the way (I did not like her, she was very irritating) I do not like Leon. And now I cannot find out what happens until season 6 hits DVD and my library buys it. We don't have a TV with cable or anything.
I am reading Rachel Smiles by Darrell Scott. Rachel Scott was killed April 20th, 1999 in Littleton, Colorado, the Columbine school shooting. I have read the other books about Rachel as well, and...while they are really good, they are so sad! it just really gets to me why those two guys would kill people, look at them and pull the trigger. But whatever. Rachel had a strong faith, and I admire that. She was caring and compassionate. She lived her faith. Living your faith is so much more important than saying you are saved.
I just finished First the Dead by Tim Downs like last week. Amazing book! I love the Bug Man books. They are soo good; I think book 3, the one I finished most recently, is the best one yet, although the others are good too.
Today is rainy. All overcast with a little wind. I do not like rain. lol. Well, okay, I don't like storms. Rain isn't the problem.
We all went to Wal Mart the other night. That was fun! I love going to Wal Mart with everybody. I got a few things for me. On Saturday Dad had dropped Nicole, Bert and me off there and I got the last few things for Amy's birthday. I love going to Wal Mart.
"What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" Pslam 8:4. I love that verse (forgive me if I don't have it correct, but that is basically it.)! But I also love that entire Psalm. Chapter 8 is one of my favorite Psalms probably.
One of my deepest desires is that people see Jesus in me. I want my life to glorify and honor Jesus Christ. It was never promised to be easy, I know that, but nothing, to me, is more important than living my life to please Christ.
I mentioned reading Do Hard Things I believe. Well, earlier I was listening to 'Fireproof' by Pillar, their song 'Just to get by' and I realized that it sorta fits with the message Alex & Brett were trying to get across. Maybe...I think. Maybe it's just me who sees it. lol. Anyways, the two guys were talking about the low expectations, and how so many people just do it, just enough to get by. Like the song says. But yeah, interesting...
I was flipping thru one of my journals from this past spring, and I found a song and a couple poems, as well as a short thing on depression I had written. I don't even remember writing them! well, the song and couple poems I sorta do, but not the thing on depression. Sometimes reading my journals is fun, other times embarrassing...and always interesting! lol.
Okay, well, I don't really know what else to say, so I am gunna sign off.
Jesus the way, the truth and the life. Jesus saves!! |

25) Do you remember your dreams? do you like to tell ppl them? I usually remember my dreams, and I always tell Nicole. She gets annoyed with me about that...lol. Big deal. lol |

Feb. 14, 2009 - =)
Happy Valentine's Day!! I hope y'all enjoyed your day. I did mine...last night I got to bed at 2am, and I got up at ten this morning. I totally did not feel like it, but I had asked Mom to ask Dad to get the mail in the morning, and I figured he had already, and that I might have a letter, so I went downstairs. And saw an envelope by the radio...and it was for me!! I just knew I'd get her letter today. I was sooo happy! I've already begun a reply back...and am on page four. Since the post office is closed Monday (thanks to President's Day), I will have to make it last all weekend...I am sure it will...I have a lot to answer. We always write long letters...hers is fifteen pages, and she writes really small, too. And next week I should be getting another long letter from another amazing friend (if u read it this, angel gurl, i lov ya!!). Anyways...I hear my mom's cell phone ringing. Rosa is probably calling and making sure Mom and Dad got home safely with Tori. They went up to see my sister, and brought back my niece, 2 yr. Tori. She is so cute!
Umm...lets see...the ones at home, Nicole, Bert, Miranda, Katie and me had french toast for dinner. Good stuff, man. lol. I stayed downstairs almost all day, keeping an eye on the two little girls.
And umm...I guess this is all. I don't know what else to say, so I reckon I'll get off here.
Jesus loves ya and gave ya a better Valentine's Day gift than anyone else! tell the world of His love...you talk about your cats, your dogs, your interests, why not share Jesus? the most imporant message...we gotta follow in His footsteps and spread the gospel. Course now, we can't be shovin' it down people's throats becuz that isn't going to turn them to Christ. We gotta have a Christlike manner about us.
But yeah, that's all. My mind is kinda scattered, so yep... |

Feb. 12, 2009 - idk
I requested First the Dead by Tim Downs, book 3 in his Bug Man books. Man, they are soo good!! The Bug Man books, Kanner Lake series by Brandilyn Collins and the Hidden Face series by Brandilyn Collins are my favorite series probably. I really like Abomination by Colleen Coble, that was a good book. I got a couple letters today and in one of them, she asked if I had read This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti. I haven't, but if it is scary, I want to! Books don't really scare me anymore...unless I read a ton of murder mysteries all day and stay up late reading and then I get paranoid when I go to sleep, but other that, I can't really scare myself. lol.
Tuesday was pretty nice out...Nicole and I took the three little girls to the park for like 2 hours and 20 minutes, and then we went back down to join Bert and a few others in basketball...we didn't end up playing tho. Oh well, we had fun watching.
I don't like going to the zoo, but I feel like going. lol. I wanna go and take pictures. I really wanna use my new camera but I don't too often...so I wanna go.
Ohh, I might be goin' up to my sister's for a couple weeks here soon! I'm excited! lol. I feel like going there lately...
Okay, well, I reckon I'll be signin' off! God Rocks!! |

Feb. 8, 2009 - few verses & Saturday
Psalm 25:1,2,4,5: "Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day."
Psalm 26:2: "Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart."
I just love those verses...we read them as a family just recently. Every night the whole family reads the Bible together, and right now we are in Psalms.
Saturday was such a nice day. Not quite as nice out as Friday, but oh well. I took my three little sisters to the park for about an hour, and around 3:35pm Dad, Mom, Callie and I left. We went to Wal*Mart to get a few things, and then to Family Christian Store. I went straight to the teen non-fiction books, and found a couple books I really wanna read, but my library doesn't have them as of now, so I gotta wait...
I also found a lovely journal. It was the perfect size, great feel to it...but it cost like fourteen bucks! lol. Kinda crazy, I reckon. but didn't stop me from wanting it! lol.
We also went to the thrift store to get Callie a few dresses. She noticed Miranda and Katie has a bunch more than her, so she wanted a few more. We got three for her.
And hmm...well, today is Sunday, and since Katie didn't feel good last night, Mom didn't get her up this morning, so Dad, Nicole, Bert and I went to church. It was very good service. It was funny, because last night Nicole and I left the radio on when we went to bed, and I woke up early this morning and "Lord, I lift Your Name on High" came on, and I was like 'I don't wanna stay up and listen to it right now, so I hope we sing it at church' and then, we sang it! So yeah, I thought that was funny...and great!
Let the whole earth praise the Lord! praise ye the Lord! God is good all the time!!

Feb. 6, 2009 - today was great!!
If you read the title, well, then, you already know today was great! lol. I failed to do my school-work today, although I did exercise. exercise, algebra and biology are my favorite subjects. So anyways, it was like 65 degrees outside today! but windy. Oh well; I could wear a short sleeve shirt without a long-sleeved one underneath! lovely. lol. I wore my jacket tho.
I took a walk, and I stopped at the park. Talked to a friend of my sister's for a little while, and then I pushed her little boy on the swing. He's like two or three...I cannot remember!! Anyways, she is going to be having a little girl on next week. Her son is very excited about having a little sister.
Then I walked around town and came home. Nicole was about to take off to find me, so I went down to the park with her. About ten minutes later maybe, Bert came down and joined us. Then Corey (a friend of my two older sisters) invited Bert to play basketball with him. After a while, Nicole and I went over to the court and watched; we got involved in a game of 'stop' instead of 'pig' and I came in second place! Better than I usually do. lol.
A little bit later Josh (the cousin of my friend Shelby) came and we played a game of basketball. We never did finished; we took a short break and then Bert left because he had a headache, so Nicole and I came home with him.
So yep, that was my day. Even if it doesn't sound too fun, it was! I simply love getting out on nice days and walking around town, sitting down at the park...and playing basketball! such a joy.
I best be going...Man, I've been outside so much today I never even worked on my story! lol. It's already twenty-seven pages in just...like, nine days. Oh...I guess that'd be like three pages a day. lol. |

Feb. 3, 2009 - bored here
Ah...what to say? Well, hmmm...I went to Wal Mart on Saturday!! so I was happy -very happy about that!- and I got some stuff for my best friend's birthday...I hope she likes it. She hasn't yet told me what she wants, so I went ahead and picked up a few things. And before we, Dad, Nicole and Bert, went to Wal Mart, I drove to the library. Which was fun! Driving, I mean. lol.
Oh man...I loved going to Wal Mart! Felt like forever (49 days!) since I had last been. It felt super nice to go ahead...and surround myself in pens, notebooks, etc. (I loove the writing aisle with notepads, pens, glue, journals, ect.) and then I went over to the clothes, and they have like a whole new bunch of clothes in! So I was excited about that, and looking thru them all. and then I went over to the Valentine aisle, and let myself dream of buying a bunch of chocolate. Needless to say, I didn't. And lemme think...then I went to the DVDs/music, and saw season six of Smallville and read the back. Oh, man, I cannot wait to get up to season six! But, I'm trying to be patient and not get season two for at least another week. I haven't seen it in like three weeks now. lol.
Um, then...on Sunday we all went to chuch, and stayed home all day. I think we did...I guess we did. I'm drawing a blank! Okay, anyways, I memorized fourteen verses in January! and I had said I'd memorize one a week, so I'm happy about that. and for this week, I'm working on Nahum 1:3, I believe it is. A good verse; I love it. It mentions the clouds being the dust of Jesus' feet. Very cool.
I did exercise (jumping jacks, push-ups, crunches, stretches, etc.) on Sunday, yesterday and today. I'm not used to doing push-ups and jumping jacks, shame on me I hadn't done either in a good month, and so on Monday my arms and legs were sore. My legs are almost no longer sore, but my arms are still a little sore. But, I did exercise again today! the push-ups almost killed me.
Okay, this is probably getting fairly long, so let me bring it to an end. I started a story the 29th last month and it is twenty-two pages as of today. I even titled it -something rare for me! I usually just save them under the date I started it. lol.
Oh, and I got my first letter in February from Lisa! and my first email from Laurel. I'm so happy. C u! |
