Well science isnt going to well

Well the science isnt working out for some reason so I will be buying lapbooking and see if that will help out if not then Im lost to what else to do but to buy all new program. I wish it was going better but it isnt. I have been researching and all for something new but I have spent my homeschool curriculum budget. I have a few dollars to buy supplements to go with it but not a new program. So I will buy some lapbooks and such to see if I can find the answer if I cant find the answer then we will give up science for this year or we will go with R&S for science.

I love Christian kids series so far, we did "study biology" last year and are doing "explore earth and space" this year but with that said...don't gasp but we didn't use much curriculum until my oldest was 6th/7th grade. We used the library extensively. I usually had a topic for the year or semester or whatever and sometimes I'd pick up a $8-10 guide (something from our local teacher store) and that's it. We'd do reports, I'd find worksheets and stuff online to add...enchanted learning is great for this. So sorry for the long comment but do what works...you don't have to have "curriculum".
