Yesterday we went a couple nursing homes and sang Christmas carols, When we got to the first Nursing Home we where a little late O.O I was a lil uncomfortable singing in front of anyone... even if it was in a group...and I was in the very back XD lol, I kept tripping over my words, My mom didn’t help much...lol, when I glanced at her (she was right beside me) she was really working hard to keep from laughing, lol I can’t blame her O.O (I hate it when I get nervous) After we where done singing for them we went to say Marry Christmas to them. A friend of mine and I went around together saying Marry Christmas when we got to this sweet older lady. We said “Marry Christmas” She told us what a blessing it was for them to have us sing in front of them. Then she began speaking as if she new exactly what I was going through. It was amazing. I have really been taking the loss of my friend hard, and some of the things she said where what I needed to hear. I later found out my friend had been going through a bit of a tough time too. So what she said really spoke to both of us. After we found out that she has no family, she luvs kids and ones us to come back and visit her. So my friend and I have decided we will defently be going to see her!!!! Oh by the time we got to the next Nursing Home I wasn’t as nervous and could actually sing XD lol YAY. Well that was an interesting day...and I doubt one I’ll soon forget either!!! ~LadyBug~ |
