Car trouble
|
We were having a pretty good day and we all loaded into the van to go to piano lessons and the battery was dead on the van. So I called the piano teacher to let her know we could not come today, and then we all piled out to go back inside:( We were also going to go to the library- so Winston was pretty disappointed about not getting to do that.
It is overcast and warm here today. Supposed to be rainy all week. I don't really look forward to that.
Winston and Kaysha helped me make Chocolate Chip Coconut cookies. They enjoyed that! I am trying to get in the habit of letting them help me in everything . It is so much faster to just do things myself, but that is not raising helpful children.
Kaysha's buddy Maggie is turning two this week and having a Raggedy Ann 2nd b-day party on Sat. I bought a giant (3 ft) Raggedy Ann doll on ebay for a gift and received it in the mail today! That was fun- The kids liked getting that in a big box! The doll is huge- as big as Kaysha!! All the little girls are dressing in outfits that have Raggedy Ann on them! It should be very cute!
Well, The older two are outside playing and Kaysha is taking a nap, so maybe I should go get something done!!! It's a good idea whether I'll do it or not is another question!
Have a great day!

I understand the frustration of life throwing us curve balls...changing our plans that we had been looking forward to. I think you are doing a great job as a home school mom! That's awesome that you let your kids help you cook. It's a very hard thing to do, when you'd rather just do it all yourself (ie."everyone out of the kitchen so I can think and get this done fast...") :) : ) : )
