Nestled in the heart of blackberry country, our home and school serve as a refuge to our souls. I am a home schooling mom of four and our family lives, loves and learns in the scenic countyside. A breath taking view of the ever changing and majestic Mt. St. Helens can be taken in from our giant living room and kitchen windows. (See a photo of the mountain in my slide show located below.) We have a front row seat to the mountain's many moods and faces. Each day in our country refuge brings a new adventure as we seek to serve and glorify the Lord!
This is a recent photo of my sweet doll, enjoying a snowcone (that's almost as big as she is) at Silverwood Amusement Park in Idaho. Have you ever seen an icy dessert that big in your life? No snowcone for her today on her birthday, but we treated her to lunch at a nearby restaurant, and she got to have a pumpkin milkshake. She was extremely happy about that!
Happy birthday to your newly turned 10 year old! And yowsa, that is some snow cone!! :)
No, my hubby wasn't upset with me for posting the photo. :) And I wasn't driving when I took the rainbow shot- I am definitely not that coordinated! LOL! Neat that you got to see a double rainbow! Yes, Kenton was way off base about the snobby huskies comment... but she's totally growing on him. :)
