God's ProvidenceWhere are You, Lord?
In the deepest, darkest swamp,
Filled with gaters and creepy things.
You provide the firm, solid ground.
In the flat, still bayous
You are the peace of the night
And the strength to keep rowing.
When all my memories come together,
Some things have changed
Others remain the same
I see that You have been with me
And never left my side.

I especially liked the part about some things have changed and some things have remained the same... it just jumped right out at me... God is always the same! The book of James tells us that God does not change like shifting shadows. I am so thankful for that!
