Oct. 7, 2006 - Cove Lake Hike
Today my family and I went for a hike around Cove Lake near Mt. Magazine.
It was so beautiful. The kids are getting so good at hiking and going for longer hikes. It was a 3.5 mile hike, and only the baby gave in about a mile before we were done and needed a nap on Daddy's back. No one else was around. I was surprised b/c it was such a gorgeous day with temperatures not getting above 80.
We had fun, took pictures (with the old 35mm b/c my digi is broke), and were thankful to be together.
We use Tim Ernst's book Arkansas Hiking Trails to come up with good ideas of where to go. We are big fans of his work.

It was a beautiful day here yesterday too--warm and sunny, and the fall colors were gorgeous! I'm sure your hike must have been beautiful.
