SUMMER VACATION
There'll be no Summer Vacation for me
You see, we're having another baby
Instead, I'll be pulling out the little socks
That had been put up high in a box.
I'll be looking for a sale on a bouncy seat
Instead of enduring the hot summer heat.
I'm sure he'll be as sweet as he can be,
But still, there'll be no Summer Vacation for me.

I won a gift certificate for this poem, but not b/c it was all that great, but b/c it was a drawing--But still, I didn't expect to win and that's pretty cool!! Thanks, CARP management!!
Oh, and it will be a joyful thing to have a baby, but still there'll be no Vacation for me, unless, of course, the doctor approves an airplane ride next month.
