Husband came back from the States with a Desk Apprentice, plus a K'nex kit to go with Hobbes' new physics course.

We have textbooks and all sorts of bit and pieces constantly littering the table top. I wonder what you think of the Desk Apprentice. Is it big enough to store all the books for the day, paper, and pens etc?

It holds quite a bit. We keep all our English and maths things around the sides, plus all the writing implements at the corners. In the middle, on the little shelf, we keep rubbers, sharpeners, paper clips, etc., and next to them, in the big deep well, we can fit in blocks of writing paper and such.
We still have our secondary subjects (languages, maths, science, arts....) stored elsewhere.
