I gosh I miss Edinburgh so much. It is where my husband and I met and our daughter was born. It is so perfect. The houses are spacious and yet so many people can live in the same street. The stairwells are so full of echoes and beauty - you have captured this so well! People walk everywhere and get so fit going up all those hills. It is so funny to want to be right back where we started.

I grew up in a five-storey Georgian house (they were cheap then - no one knew what to do with them), so there's always something about them that feels like home to me.

You could always take a trip to Bath. Or Clifton if you want Georgian plus hills.
